I really didn't know Marc very well, but I was impressed with the special connection that he and Mindy seemed to have for one another.

I used to attend minyan quite a bit when I lived in Marietta and there was a time I remembered when Mindy and Marc would come. I think it was always at the evening minyan.

They had a cute way of being together and joked around a lot, which I loved to see.

The minyan itself was always special to me because the people that attended minyan were always so dedicated.

I was very sorry to hear of your loss and I am sure that when you go to minyan I hope you feel his presence. The blue walls always reminded me of being amongst the clouds and I always felt a sense of connection there with my father.

I wish you all a sense of peace and of safety. For, I believe, those that have gone from us are never really gone. They are awaiting our arrival some day and in between watch over us with pride.

There is a book called Remember My Soul or something like that in the Etz Chaim library. It walks you through a series of exercises that help bring back to life significant values and characteristics of people that have had a profound impact on us. You might find that somewhat helpful.

Hope your blood drive is a big success.

Most sincerely,

Susan Berman
